PRIVACY PROTECTION POLICY

Pursuant to Public Act 08-167, it is the policy of Fiore and Fiore, P.C. to protect the confidentiality of Social Security Numbers and other personal information obtained from our clients, and to prohibit the unlawful disclosure of and access to said personal information. Furthermore, in order to safeguard such data from misuse by third parties, it is our policy to destroy such data prior to disposal.

Fiore and Fiore, P.C. does not disclose nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of our engagement with our clients to non-affiliated third parties, except as necessary in the course of our engagement or as required by law. A disclosure required by law would be a disclosure by us that is ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction with regard to a legal action to which a client is a party. As attorneys, we have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are more stringent than those required by this new law.

Therefore, we have always protected our clients’ right to privacy. If you are a client of this firm, you should know that all information that we receive from you is held in confidence, and is not released to any third parties, except as agreed to by you, or as required under an applicable law.
